Youth Academy
GPAC Youth Academy's vision is to build upon performing arts opportunities for young people, and to support teachers and students in performing arts in the Gladstone region, with a central focus on quality, accessibility, and longevity.
Youth Academy is for any school-age student (Grades 3–12) interested in singing and acting. Youth Academy operates as a subsidiary group of the Gladstone Performing Arts Company.
What do Youth Academy lessons include?
The overall objective of both our artistic streams is to foster creativity and a sense of ensemble whilst developing independence and self discipline.
The Youth Academy program includes 45 minutes of drama and 45 minutes of singing teaching and development. Repertoire is selected to give students a breadth of experience vocally and dramatically.
